If you want to know how to be attractive and look healthy, the first thing you should do is get a full night’s sleep, say experts.
Now, for the very first time, claim the experts, there’s scientific evidence for the notion of beauty rest.
According to the study, the key element of how to be attractive is getting a good night’s sleep.
The research looked at the link between sleep and views of being attractive and health. The experts believe this study is vital in this 24 hour modern society with all the people today dealing with sleep issues and disrupted sleep is on the increase.
Twenty three people between the years of 18 to 31 took part in the research. These people were photographed between 2 pm and 3 pm on two instances, once right after normal sleep as well as once right after being deprived of sleep. Cigarette smokers were ruled out of the study and also no alcohol in all forms was allowed for 2 days before the research.
The photos were shot in a nicely lit area plus the range to the camera had been set the same for all photos. At the time of both photo sessions people used no makeup, had their hair free, or combed back when they had long hair, and had the same grooming methods. These people were asked to use a casual, neutral facial expression for each photo.
65 observers, who had been unaware of the sleep status of the people, graded the photos for attractiveness as well as if the people looked unhealthy/healthy or not tired/tired.
They judged the facial looks of sleep deprived people as less attractive, less healthy plus more tired.
The experts concluded that the facial signals of sleep deprived persons have an effect on judgments of how to be attractive.
So, on your quest of how to be attractive, ensure that you are getting a good night’s sleep before anything else.
